Our Goals

While our goals are focused on education, income and health, because these our the building blocks for a good quality of life, we’ve never lost sight of the importance of providing basic needs—food and utility assistance—which helps keep families fed and warm during the winter months.

How We Work To Achieve Our Goals

What sets United Way apart from many charities, is how we work to achieve our goals:

  • We work diligently to recruit people, companies and nonprofit organizations from acrosss the community who bring the passion, expertise and resources needed to get things done.
  • We firmly believe that we can accomplish so much more by connecting people to people, needs to resources, experts to advocates, and get real commitments for action.

How You Can Help

We invite your to be a part of the change.  You can give, you can advocate and you can volunteer. That’s what it means to LIVE UNITED.

We invite you to join us.  It can be as simple as making a donation. Your donation goes to work right here in North Central Massachusetts.

We also have numerous volunteers, who may only volunteer a couple of times a year or work tirelessly on a cause they are passionate about.  We have over 100 volunteer opportunities available through our Volunteer Center.

To be an advocate, it can be as simple as contacting your elected officials and letting them know which health and human service issues that are important to you.
