Johnson Controls Hosted Business After Hours Event May 24, 2018 At Its Westminster Location

Networking event also featured a presentation from the United Way Youth Venture program

GARDNER MA, May 24, 2018 -- Johnson Controls, in partnership with the Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce, the North Central MA Chamber of Commerce, and the North Quabbin Chamber of Commerce, hosted a casual and educational Business After Hours event on Thursday, May 24, 5:15 – 7:15 pm, at its 50 Technology Drive, Westminster, MA location. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages were served.

The evening provided excellent opportunities for members and non-members from area businesses of all sizes to make social and professional connections, and to tour the Westminster facility, now a key center of excellence for Johnson Controls following its recent merger with Tyco. Johnson Controls provides industry-leading building products, technologies and solutions designed to make the world safer, smarter and more sustainable. The event also provided a showcase for Johnson Controls’ support of the United Way of North Central Massachusetts and it’s Youth Venture programs.

During the evening, a Youth Venture team described how they were benefitting from the program, as well as what they were doing to positively impact the community. The United Way’s Youth Venture program, now in its 15th year, is run in partnership with more than a dozen North Central Massachusetts school districts and youth development organizations.
